The CAMEROON ROBOTICS ASSOCIATION is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting robotics and innovation in Cameroon. Founded in 2018, the association aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing a platform for robotics enthusiasts to share knowledge, collaborate, and showcase their projects. With a focus on STEM education and skills development, the organization has initiated several initiatives, including robotics competitions, training programs, and hackathons. Its objectives are to foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement in Cameroon.
Mr Eone Jacques
Demystifying Robotics in Africa is the mission he has chosen to embark on. Visionary, Bold and resilient, are best attributes to describe the person of Jacques Eone, CEO of Sparte Robotics. He is one Man who through his experience believes in the immense contribution to productivity that robots would have. Motivated by firsthand experience amassed over the years, he is a Proud African who believes Africa has more to Offer. Passionate about the importance of Robotics in the African Context, cognisant of the transformation it could bring, in 2018, he Co-founded Afrobots.
Msr Manuella Otti
Manuella Otti is a committed woman with big projects, passionate about robotics and its different possibilities. As a PhD student at the Institut Pascal (CNRS/UCA), she is currently working on the development of a robotic hand with flexible and deformable fingers, intended for use in industry for the manipulation of objects. CEO of Sparte ROBOTICS, she thinks about the future differently, and invests in innovative and promising sectors that can have a significant impact on the world of medicine
Our major objective is to connect young people in primary and secondary schools to the basic technological tools necessary for the design of robots and other automation solutions. But also, we foresee developing many areas in Cameroon, through robotics and innovation. We are, in fact, well aware of all the potential of robotics and know well that robotics, beyond everything else, is part of a different, innovative and improving approach. We are therefore committed to offering optimal and innovative robotic solutions in order to facilitate daily life and processes in key areas of development.
